Corrections and changes
Every material change to what this site asserts, newest first. Where we got something wrong, the entry says what the page used to say, so if you read the old version you can tell whether it affected you.
The log starts at launch on 10 August 2026. Nothing before that was published, so there was no claim in front of a reader to correct. Typos, wording and new pages are not listed here. 1 factual correction so far.
- Correction
Four cited sources were pointing at pages that no longer exist, and have been replaced with current ones: the Australian Building Codes Board's waterproofing handbook, its livable housing guidance, the Plumbing Code of Australia, and icare NSW's home building compensation page. The substance of what those pages support did not change; the links did. Twenty-five pages cited at least one of them.
What it said before
All four were recorded in our source registry as fetched and returning 200. They do return 200 — both abcb.gov.au and icare.nsw.gov.au serve a "page not found" screen with a success status rather than a 404, so a status-code check saw nothing wrong. Anyone who followed one of those citations to check a claim would have landed on an error page.

Source monitoring now checks more than a status code. It follows redirects and reports where they land, compares page titles, hashes the readable body text to detect a rewrite, and treats a success response carrying a "page not found" title as the dead link it is. When a source changes, the report lists every page that rests on it. It never edits a claim: a changed source is flagged for a person to read.

Question headings written in search phrasing are now labelled "people search this as".
What it said before
They were shown in quotation marks with "put more plainly" underneath, which reads as though a specific reader sent us those exact words. Nobody did. The phrasing is editorial, chosen to match how the query actually arrives, and there is deliberately no field in our content model that could record a submitter's name, suburb or date.

Claim-level citations added. Blocks that assert a legal, regulatory or safety requirement now carry a numbered marker linking to the specific authority behind that statement, rather than relying on the page's source list as a whole. An automated audit fails the build if new content states a rule without one.

This corrections page was added, along with a published editorial rule for which statements require a source. Both were prompted by noticing that three pages promised readers a visible "last checked" date that had been deliberately removed from the design months earlier.
What it said before
The terms and contact pages both told readers that "every page shows the date it was last checked against its sources", and the contact form's confirmation promised the page's "last checked" date would be updated. No page displayed such a date.

Structured data for question pages changed from QAPage to Article plus FAQPage. QAPage describes a forum thread and asks for a posting date, an answer author and a community vote count; this site has none of those, and the only way to satisfy the warnings would have been to publish invented engagement figures.

This is the report we most want. Point at the page, say what is wrong, and ideally link the source that says otherwise. Australian trade regulation moves and we would rather be corrected than confident.
